Disposal of Waste

Waste removal is part of a complete, complex and timed system designed to keep our streets clean and prevent sanitary hazards. We all know the garbage trucks that pass through the streets and empty the public trash cans every morning, evening, and sometimes twice a day. The waste removed from the streets will eventually end up at landfill sites or recycling sites, when everything is done according to clear regulations to protect the environment and the health of the residents as much as possible. There are situations of waste disposal in slightly different ways, such as for example the removal of trimmings or the removal of construction waste that must be carried out in coordination with the municipality or with professional waste removal companies that specialize in the various removal regulations. In most cases, construction waste or trimmings will be directed to large waste containers that will be placed temporarily in the place where the work is being done and will be removed by a truck or crane to the appropriate waste site. Another unusual situation of waste disposal arises when a person wants to remove furniture or large and heavy equipment from his house that cannot be placed in the garbage can. In order to prevent piles of equipment from accumulating on the streets, each municipality allows equipment of this type to be taken out onto the street on certain days, when special collection and removal is carried out. The evacuation days in each city can be found on the municipality’s website.

Pneumatic waste disposal

The next step in waste removal is pneumatic waste removal. This is a system that starts from the tenants’ houses, where they throw the garbage into two different types of bins inside the house itself – a bin for wet waste, such as food scraps and the like, and a bin for dry waste such as paper, plastic and more. From each apartment, the waste is pumped using compressed air to a system of underground pipes and from them to a main collection point located outside the residential area. Parallel bins on the street, for wet or dry garbage, are also connected to this collection point in the same way. From the collection point, the waste is separated and transported to the appropriate recycling sites. Disposing of waste in this way leaves the streets free of waste residues, bad odors and animals rummaging through the trash cans. Removal in this way saves the storage space of the neighborhood trash cans and the nuisance of having the trash removed by the garbage truck. There is no longer even a need to leave the house to throw away the garbage. Disposal of Waste
